IMPERSOM is a solution for the reduction of percussion sounds in floor slabs. This is an APP modified bitumen membrane, finished on its under face with cork granulate, which should cover the entire slab and fold the edges in such a way that there is no direct contact between the laying screed and the wall. The membrane is adjusted to the wall with the aid of a knife.

IMPERSOM membranes have an overlapping zone, which does not require any gluing element.
A simple screed with a minimum of 0.04 m must be executed over the IMPERSOM, on which the final finishing will be executed/set.

These are solutions that use plasterboard panels, inside of which this membrane is applied, thus forming excellent acoustic conditioning solutions for both construction and rehabilitation.

Following a policy of improving comfort conditions in buildings and a growing concern with acoustic quality in building works, IMPERALUM presents a new product named IMPERCOQUILHA whose objective is to minimize noise resulting from the movement of fluids in wastewater discharge pipes, which is today one of the main noise generating sources in collective housing and/or service buildings. IMPERCOQUILHA is a product designed for acoustic insulation of PVC pipes whose dimensions adjust to the different types of pipes used in the building work. This product is created by cutting rock wool slabs to a nominal density of 70Kg/m3, and is later coated on the outside with kraft paper.
