
Selena Group, a global producer of construction products, has signed an agreement, subject to approval by the Competition Authority, to buy 100% of Imperalum’s capital.
In a statement, the Polish group announces its intention with this acquisition to complement its offer of bituminous waterproofing membranes and strengthen its position in the Western European market.
Imperalum, founded in 1968, is the national leader in the bituminous waterproofing membranes market, being an important player in Portugal in the commercialisation of thermal and acoustic insulation, drainage and geotextiles.
The Selena Group is made up of 30 companies spread across 19 countries on 4 continents, with its products present in around 90 countries around the world, distributed across a portfolio of brands such as Tytan, Quilosa, COOL-R and Matizol.
