FLAT ROOFS<\/strong><\/p>\n

In traditional flat roofs, the waterproofing systems appl\"coberturasied over the thermal insulation, protecting it, are in turn subject to greater wear and tear and less durability.<\/p>\n

The high compressive strength of 300kPa and the total insensitivity to water of ifoam \u00ae coberturas extruded polystyrene roofing panels, allow their application in flat roofs over waterproofing, in a system called inverted roofing.<\/p>\n

This inversion of positions allows the waterproofing to be protected from possible mechanical aggression, as well as from accelerated degradation by the action of constant external thermal variations or ultraviolet radiation, increasing the efficiency and longevity of the system.\"Roofs\"<\/p>\n

The speed of application and ease of cutting, which allows the adaptation of insulation to unique points of the roof, the half timber fit that reduces thermal bridges between boards, the non-shrinkage and the possibility of application under any weather conditions, make ifoam \u00ae coberturas (roofs) the best solution for thermal insulation for various types of flat roofs, from technical and non-accessible roofs, to transitable roofs and garden roofs.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

SLOPED ROOFS<\/strong><\/p>\n

Applying thermal insulation to the slopes of a sloping roof allows full use to be made of the garret area as a useful, climate-controlled area of the building. The possibility of applying thermal insulation continuously on the outside of the sloped roof slab ensures the absence of thermal bridges while taking advantage of the slab’s thermal inertia as a benefit for indoor comfort.<\/p>\n

The rigid foam panels of grooved ifoam\u00ae ranhurado extruded polystyrene, \"coberturaswith a compressive strength of 300kPa and total insensitivity to water, are extraordinarily adequate to resist the loads resulting from the weight of the roof tiles and other permanent or occasional overloads, as well as the wet environment that frequently occurs on the underside of the roof tiles.<\/p>\n

Additionally, the grooved design on the top face of these ifoam \u00ae Plan panels was specially developed to provide better adhesion and locking to points or laths of mortar, or other adhering means, allowing easy and stable application of the tiles over the thermal insulation.<\/p>\n

In roofs with laths mechanically fixed to the slab or other continuous resistant support, placing the thermal insulation plates with the groove in the direction of the slope allows not only for the correct support of the lath, but also for increased ventilation under the lath, reducing its degradation by the presence of humidity even without the application of counter-ripples.<\/p>\n

All these characteristics make ifoam\u00ae ranhurado (grooved) the most suitable and long-lasting thermal insulation for use in sloped roofs on continuous support, both in new construction and in renovation or rehabilitation work.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
