Completely waterproof and windproof, yet vapour permeable, Tyvek ® flexible membranes designed and produced by DuPont™, applied to flat roofs, sloped roofs and walls, ensure protection of the building environment throughout its lifetime, offering improved indoor environment and energy efficiency due to the regulation of air and moisture flows through the building elements.
As a result of an exclusive DuPont™ technology, Tyvek® membranes are formed by a unique functional layer in high-density polyethylene, consisting of a “labyrinth” of millions of non-woven microfibres, resulting in a product with high flexibility and lightness, but with great mechanical strength, capable of high breathability and at the same time totally waterproof.
